Taking Advantage of your expertise- Thanks!

Thanks for all the thoughtful feedback. I'm typing away at work, while at home my crockpot is getting a workout... Found thinly sliced round steak on sale, so I threw that in the crock after browning , added an onion and some stewed tomatoes. Hopefully it'll taste alright. No major spending sprees here. Son and daughter have both had car/truck issues recently, so i feel as though I'm spending all my time driving people around. As a result of driving the world around and the amount of time it's taken I've had to eat on the run far more than I would have liked. My weight is getting higher all the time, and I feel unhealthy. I find myself giving into temptation too much food-wise, but I've been doing much better in other areas of spending. I did take advantage of the Target clearance sale over the weekend to hit their one spot clearance. I found tons of car related items, so i think someone in my life will end up getting a car care kit. I ended up with tire cleaner, car wash stuff, car wash mitt thingies, wipe down the dashboard wipes, maybe a window cleaner wipe?.. stuff like that. I ended up spending ~$11.50 altogether there, and also picked up a personal care item, and some household stuff. I did buy a Sunday paper and buy groceries $45.87 but nothing I can count on getting a rebate for. I've been spending lots on gas due to driving everyone everywhere... over 100 miles a day. I spent $33.21 on a prescription, but called my doctor's office and he will be writing for 3 months at a time for that always-have-to-take-it med so I can pay a 1 month copay and use the mail away service. I spent $10.97 today mostly frivolously, and $8 last Friday at an arts and crafts fair, but on food. Another drive everyone day, so I had to left off at work an hour early, thus no time to make lunch... Also ~$4.50 at a Dollar Tree. Still trying to keep honest with myself, and enjoying more spend free days than I've had for a long time...
